Someone down in the market said something about the Palace, like they remembered there is one. Then they looked really confused, and shrugged it off. But - there is a palace if one continues uphill through the city. Somehow the city continues to grow.
And now people are making their way through the switchback, going up for entertainment and then back down to go home.
